5k | 10k | 1 Mile Fun Run & Roll | Festival
October 12, 2019 | Tribble Mill Park | Lawrenceville, GA
Hey Amazing Volunteer Friends!
We need your help!
Tailored for all ages and abilities, Trippadoodles Trot aims to be an inclusive event. When you run for those who can't, it makes your heart soar!
Trippadoodles Trot was created in memory of Tripp Halstead, a spectacular boy who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury when a tree limb hit him on the head. Tripp was a strong, brave, and HAPPY boy, wanting to be included in everything his family and friends were doing, no matter his abilities. Tripp not only inspired so many around the World to get out of their comfort zone and have fun, he also brought a smile to their faces.
At Trippadoodles Trot, we intend to do exactly what Tripp would have wanted, include everyone and put a smile on their faces and Volunteer Friends, we need your help to make that happen!
VOLUNTEERING at Trippadoodles Trot will prove to be a very rewarding experience as you take part in helping others, whether they are the fastest runner on the course, a Para-Athlete who requires assistance to do what they love to do, or the last person crossing that finish line, every one of these people will give it all they have and you can be part of helping them cross that finish line! All you need to do is grab a Volunteer spot and show up on race day. We will be super grateful and you will feel good about helping our Athletes accomplish their goals!
Then comes the fun part...the Festival is to follow all running events and we need your help there too! Read through the description of Volunteer spots by clicking the Volunteer button below and choose the one(s) that are right for you! It's sure to be a good time had by all and best of all, you will take part in helping children in need...
Net proceeds from Trippadoodles Trot will go to Sunshine On A Ranney Day, a 501c3 non-profit, benefiting children with special needs. SOARD takes pride in building handicap accessible rooms to make life a little easier for children with special needs and their families. Tripp and his family benefited from the generosity of SOARD, so it is important to Tripp's parents, Bill & Stacy Halstead, to pay it forward. By registering for a Volunteer spot at Trippadoodles Trot, you too can take pride in knowing that you will be part of helping a little one live a little easier.
Why not invite your friends and make a fun day of volunteering at Trippadoodles Trot! If all jobs are taken, please check back often as we will add more spots as needed.
Thank you Amazing Volunteer Friends! We can't wait to meet you on race day!
